Poor Sirius and indeed poor Derek - I had a hole in my tooth fixed last Friday so I do sympathise with him. As for grumpy old git . . . well I have been one of those too. Thought PC had blown after extension lead fused on Friday. I bought a power surge replacement (especially recommended for PCs, printers etc). Plugged everything in and all worked bar the hardrive! Oh I was angry . . . a friend thought the operating button might have to be replaced. Luckily all my photos are on an external hardrive but I loaded my camera software onto my laptop as a precuation and to enable downloading latest pics. Then Sheena informed tonight having planned to dust round the PC table that she had found a lead disconnected at the back, plugged it in and the PC IS WORKING!!! Aaaaaaaaaargh - what a silly old fool I am!
On far better news, look at the photos on David's site http://drwhomerch.proboards44.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=News&thread=620&page=57 for pictures of the FANTASTIC Cyberman collection from CO coming in January. Tomb of the Cybermen, Tomb, Invasion and Next Doctor Cyber Controller to collect each with free parts to make up the classic Cyber Controller from Tomb!!! And a really nice looking "Book of Impossible Dreams" diary.
I just HAVE to get these - hope there is some Xmas presie money on the way!!
